No, but all of our ingredients are 100% gluten free. We do everything possible to create a completely gluten-free kitchen.

We do our best to use organic ingredients as much as possible.  When we are not using organic, we choose local, healthy all natural ingredients for each of our products.

Are your products made with preservatives or additives?
No, our products never contain any kind of preservatives or additives. We choose only wholesome, all natural products for our creations.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          Do your products contain soy or corn?                                                                                                                                                                No, we do not use any soy or corn in any of our products.

What are your products sweetened with?
Our motto when it comes to sugar – Less is Better.  We believe that even baked goods can be made with very little sugar and still taste fantastic!  Our main goal is to have a healthy sweet treat for you.  For this reason we add just a touch of one of the following in each product. Organic coconut sugar, organic maple syrup, organic Agave, organic pure cane sugar, or organic brown sugar.

How do we know what ingredients are used in your products?

All ingredients are clearly listed on each packaged product and next to each item on our website.

What makes your products stand out from the rest of the market?
We make every effort to put only wholesome healthy ingredients into each of our products.  We draw on our local products whenever possible.  We cut the fat and sugar as much as possible without compromising the taste. We use ingredients that promote good health including; raw almonds, certified gluten free whole oats, organic flaxmeal, and raw coconut, just to name a few.  We believe in indulging and feeling good about it!

What’s special about your granola?
We’ve done quite a bit of research in this area and feel that what we offer is the best you can get.  Most granolas consist mainly of oats with the addition of some nuts and fruit. They all have a significant amount of sugar and oil added. Our Mendo Munchie GranOla is made with all natural and organic ingredients.  We incorporate a balanced mix of whole grains, nuts, seeds, and organic dried, unsulfured dry apricots. It contains no oil and just a touch of organic maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla for that hint of sweetness.  Our Mendo Munchi GranOla is perfect by itself, added to plain yogurt, or topped with your choice of milk.  You’ll not only love the taste of our granola but you will feel good after eating it.

What makes your cookies, brownies, and sweet breads so special?

We take the time to handcraft each item by mixing our own flours and nuts and adding just the right amount of ingredients to give them that rich nutty flavor. Our chocolate is organic fair trade, soy free, 55% cacao from Equal Exchange http://www.equalexchange.coop .  Most of our sweet breads and cakes are vegan using organic flax meal in place of the eggs, handmade almond milk, and sweetened with organic coconut sugar. They will always leave you wanting more and guilt free even after that second one!

What is your packaging like?

Again, we believe that less is more.  We use minimal packaging for our products, just enough to keep them fresh and safe.  We use eco-friendly packaging that can either be re-used or re-cycled.  We can gift wrap your items on request and it will be simple and eloquent.  If you would like to add a special note we can do that too.
