Our venture into baking began years ago as mother and son baking grandma Elizabeth’s traditional Italian cookies as a family tradition during the holidays. Passed down through the generations, grandma’s recipes serve as the foundation for all of our culinary endeavors. Despite the lack of formal training, we’ve acquired a wealth of knowledge from our surrounding loved ones and developed a passion for replicating treats of yesteryear as well as conjuring up new surprises for old and new friends alike.
We live in a rural town, tucked away amidst the Redwood forest on the north coast of California. After dedicating many years to the hospitality industry, we decided to pursue our own entrepreneurial endeavor. We initially set out with the intention of opening a bakery & café, and although that has yet to materialize, we continue to actively bring that dream to fruition by baking beautiful tasty treats to sell at our local Mendocino County Farmers’ Markets – http://www.mcfarm.org

Our venture into Gluten-Free baking began after receiving a number of comments from loyal customers who had altered their diets to exclude wheat products. The consensus was that they wanted something sweet but had very little to choose from. Always up for a challenge, we took their words to heart and set out to make something that tasted good and was also good for you. We’ve limited the use of sugar as a sweet masking ingredient, expanded to a plethora of gluten-free flours and select only the finest ingredients to meld together into tasty gluten-free treats. With only new opportunities on the horizon, we continually strive to expand and improve upon all of our delectable goods.
It’s all about loving life’s pursuits and having fun, and that’s exactly what we’re doing!
